Why SRLA Leadership Cohort 2021?

We are thrilled to announce the dates and details for SRLA Leadership Cohort 2021 for K-12 learners. This is for online and homeschool parents looking to give their children a supplemental program to connect with other students in the community and become shepherd leaders.

SRLA Leadership Cohort 2021 Schedule

Every Friday starting Oct. 2021, K-12 learners will develop transferable and transformational skills in curiosity, creativity, criticism, courage, collaboration, contribution, compassion, citizenship, composure, and connection. Your children will become leaders who change our communities and ultimately our world.

October 1 - 29, 2021

Fridays 8am -12pm 

Week 1 - 5 Discovering your Leadership Identity

During these weeks students will explore their leadership and personal identities.

 Nov 5 - Dec 17, 2021

Week 6 - 11 Becoming Intentional

During these weeks students will explore strategies to becoming intentional and pursuing a more meaningful life.

Week 12 - 17 Cultivating Connection

During these weeks students will explore strategies to cultivating connections with those around them.

Feb 11 - Mar 11, 2022

Week 18 -23 Understanding Your Brain

During these weeks students will become empowered by learning how their brains work.

Week 24 - 29 Building Transferable Skills

During these weeks students will build soft skills that will be transferrable to every area of their lives.

Week 30 - 35 Moving Past Comfort

During these weeks students will develop the emotional agility to move past their comfort zone.

Graduation

We will celebrate the graduation of the Leadership Cohort potluck style with family and friends.

Is this publicly or privately funded?

We are privately funded. So that means if you’re already in a publicly funded program you are still able to attend.

Are students allowed to attend another publicly funded education day?

Yes, students are allowed to attend another publicly funded education during the day.

What is the cost?

Nothing, the cost for the program is being completely sponsored by Shepherd Revolution Leadership Academy.

Is there any required curriculum?

No curriculum is required. Leadership curriculum is provided in person with the possibility of virtual content.

Are there required uniforms?

No uniforms. Please dress appropriately.

What are the days/times?

Fridays, starting Oct. 1, 2021 from 8am-12pm. Parents will be notified for days we are not using.

What will my learning experience be?

Learning will be in small groups/socratic discussion and collaboration.

What are the ages?

K-12, elementary to high school. (6 -17)

How long is the cohort?

Oct 2021 thru June 2022

Will lunch be provided?

Lunch will NOT be provided, please have your learner bring lunch. Light snacks and water will be available.

What are your COVID-19 protocols?

Parents please check your student temperatures. If your child is not feeling well please keep them home. Masks are required indoors for staff and learners.

Is there an application process for this cohort?

Yes there is a very easy application process for enrollment. 10-15 students max for this cohort. First come, first served.
